I'm a Junior at Score Academy in Boca Raton Florida, and I’m the founder of DEFEAT INC. This organization was born out of personal tragedy. After losing a loved one to a fentanyl overdose, I realized how silent and deadly this epidemic truly is — especially among young people. The grief, confusion, and anger I felt quickly turned into purpose. I knew something had to be done.

I started DEFEAT INC to educate others, raise awareness, and fight for policy change so that no other family has to endure the same pain mine did. Through truth, advocacy, and action, I’m committed to making sure fentanyl’s dangers are no longer ignored — and that silence is no longer an option.

About DEFEAT INC

DEFEAT INC (Drug Education, Fentanyl Education, Advocacy, and Truth) is a youth-led nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness about the dangers of fentanyl and combating the opioid epidemic through education, advocacy, and action. Founded in the wake of a personal tragedy, our mission is rooted in the belief that no family should suffer in silence or lose a loved one due to misinformation, stigma, or lack of awareness.

At DEFEAT INC, we focus on prevention through truth. We educate students, parents, and communities about the reality of fentanyl-laced counterfeit pills and the devastating impact of even a single exposure. Through engaging campaigns, school partnerships, public policy advocacy, and digital outreach, we aim to replace silence with education — and fear with action.

Our initiatives include:

  • Awareness Campaigns featuring hard-hitting visuals and data-driven messages to stop overdoses before they happen.

  • Legislative Advocacy, such as supporting and drafting bills that mandate fentanyl education in schools.

  • Youth Leadership Programs to empower students to become peer educators and changemakers in their communities.

  • Community Events and Panels that bring together families, survivors, and professionals to share stories, resources, and hope.

We believe education saves lives — and we are committed to fighting until fentanyl is no longer a silent killer. Every post, presentation, and policy we push forward is in service of one goal: to DEFEAT the fentanyl crisis with knowledge, truth, and unity.
